Haute Blog Columbus Workshop
We are so excited to share our Haute Blog video + photos from our Columbus workshop! The video was made by the awesome Benji Robinson! All photos below were taken by me!
To start the morning off, we had a table set up with cupcakes, donuts, candy, coffee and mimosas for a late morning snack and at 10:30am we dove right into the content! We set up everyone’s hosting, installed WordPress, installed their WordPress theme and then go into learning all about WordPress’ dashboard. After breaking for a short lunch, we moved into creating a header and sidebar graphics.
We ended the 6-hour workshop by taking portraits of each attendee! Your blog isn’t complete without a fun, personalized photo on your sidebar! I edited one for each person there on the spot + had so much fun getting to know each attendee on a one-on-one basis. The last 30 minutes was dedicated to monetizing your blog with our sponsor and founder of Adproval, Matthew Anderson.
The first Haute Blog workshop was a success and we can’t wait to host another in Indianapolis in July! Erika is such an amazing partner and we have had so much fun connecting with talented and creative women.

This looks soo well executed. What a huge time saver for anyone looking to start a blog. And, I imagine, it would launch you right past that initiation period (that can last for years) where you just mess around and try to figure things out. Genius.
