Pin It (But Not On Pinterest)

This little DIY project has been a long time coming. I’ve wanted a corkboard somewhere in the studio for awhile. We have a larger one in our bathroom where we pin fun things from people, business cards and letters. A LONG time ago, our friend Tim built this rolling background (where we can hang rolls of paper). You can see what it used to look like here and how we used it.

But I bought an actual background stand that breaks down and this just sat in the closet, unused. One day I realized that I wanted to paint it white and add some cork to the front. So Erika painted it, I ordered the huge piece of cork (btw, I didn’t need to order such thick cork) and Adam’s brother Ben just installed it!

I’m excited to continually pin things. It will encourage me to savor printed items and will keep me off the internet.
