February 3 New Things
I welcome February with open arms. January flew by and was quite successful. I felt balanced and met business goals. I’m looking forward to accomplishing new ones! If you missed it, you can see my how I accomplished all 3 January goals (here, here and here). So what’s up for February? Here we go:
- Memorize a Pablo Neruda poem. I own a collection of his work and would love to be able to recite one by heart.
- Visit NYC! This is definitely happening. I’m headed to NYC this month with Adam, Heather and Jess!
- Document my outfit daily (no matter how slob-like) to hopefully increase productivity. I tend to work better if I actually get dressed.
Do you have any goals for this short month?

Congratulations on reaching your January goals and good luck reaching those February ones!
I live in NYC. February is kind of miserable weather-wise but I’m sure you will have a blast! Have fun on your visit!

You are going to have a GREAT time in NYC! There are limitless places to explore, numerous people to watch and about a million ways to be inspired by everything around you. Have fun!!

I just love how you are setting goals each month. I set movie and book goals on my blog For example, this month I plan to watch more horror films, documentaries and finish getting caught up on all of the nominated films. I do want to incorporate this in just life in general like you did. Great idea! I also love that you want to memorize a poem!

I love this. I started doing “4 simple goals” each quarter inspired be A Beautiful Mess. It’s such a fun and focused way to approach a short season of life. And it’ll be fun to look over your outfit photos and see how it went. Are you familiar with What I Wore Wednesday (WIWW)? It’s a weekly link-up at Pleated Poppy based on her motivation to get out of sweats more and be held accountable. Wishing you the best in February!

My hubs and I were both English majors in college. When he proposed he recited that poem to me. I have it hanging on our wall now. I can’t wait to hear which one you decide to memorize!

I really need to get my act together and do #3. Do you ever get to the end of the day and realise your outfit was totally cute but now you are tired and messy and would rather not document it anymore? True story! :)

That’s a really interesting point you make about how you get more work done when you get dressed. Good luck on all of your goals!
