Puppies and Links – Nothing Better
Our friends got their puppy this past weekend and I basically melted every time I saw her. HOW CUTE IS SHE? Her name is Stella. Light posting today but thought I’d share some of my favorite things lately:
- NARS Matte Lipstick – I FOUND THE ONE! My favorite. Can’t wait to try new shades.
- Quit Your Day Job – A blog series on Etsy and it’s so so good.
- After the Jump – my favorite podcast currently.
- Bob’s Red Mill shortbread cookies. My review can be found here.
- Making and trying cocktails from our new Vintage Cocktails book.
- Rent the Runway – I’m getting my first dress from here tomorrow for my friend Janine’s birthday party. I can’t wait to share!
Be back tomorrow with a NEW Here We Go: Tips on Blogging post!

Oh HEY! Thanks for the link darling. Also, SO excited to see you tomorrow and your dress! I almost used Rent the Runway as well, but then I forgot and it was too late. Such a good idea though. Annnnd I got a new lipstick for the party too. YAY! Mine is smashbox – legendary.

Just a couple weeks ago I started reading Etsy’s “Quit Your Day Job” series and I’m in love! I read every single one and find them so inspiring and motivating. I was going to blog about them as well. :)
Thanks for the podcast link! I, like many, tune into Design*Sponge and I’d love to hear her thoughts via podcasts! I didn’t know she was doing that!
Cheers,

I love listening to After The Jump, too. I don’t listen each week- I sortof go a month or two & then listen to a bunch at a time. I work in a not creative job AT ALL, and so it’s nice to listen to it while at work to spark those little creative nooks in my brain. :)
