#capturingLIFE: Week 1
Here are all the submissions for Week 1 of my #capturingLIFE photo challenge! I loved seeing the variety and how everyone interpreted the concept of capturing life. You can see that some were capturing day-to-day moments and others were more representational. I shot my photo when I was down at Ash Cave this past weekend. There was this older couple walking around slowly, (intentionally) pointing out spots and whispering into each others’ ears. The older gentleman always stayed close to his female counterpart and she often smiled up at him as kids ran around rambunctiously or parents shouted at their children. It’s what I hope to capture throughout my life.

What a great week of pictures! Allie, that old couple is too precious and you captured them so well. I really loved Ashton and Lauren’s this week as well.

Thanks so much for organizing! What a fun challenge. Funny how many cats made it in : )

This looks amazing! I love seeing everyone’s submissions. The birthday cake was my favorite photo, it’s funny that it doesn’t necessarily have any human element in it, and at the same time is so full of life. Lovely!

I really like the idea of this post. I especially like Bianca and Emily’s pictures. I love photos with a narrative behind them.

Thank you for posting mine Allie!
It is funny that there are a few cats … my excuse is that I don’t have any children, just a fur baby and this was the most full of life photo that I took this week. The rest were food!!!

I love these! Each photograph is exquisite in its own way. I’m going to have to get involved next time around!
