#30dayphoto : Day 23

Today’s challenge was to take or submit a photo of a childhood memory. Mine is a photo of nail polish. When I was REALLY little, I would pretend that each bottle was a person and as I got older, I just always kept a huge basket in my room. I love looking at these photos because they’re clearly tied to each person’s memory. Which one is your favorite?

Tomorrow’s challenge: your favorite color scheme. I’m excited to see these! Please submit by 12pm EST. I’ll actually be in Illinois (which is Central Time) so the post won’t be up until early evening. Happy shooting!

  • I love the look of #15, but #18: I read Nancy Drew when I was growing up!!! Your pic made me smile. These are such sweet pictures and so many seem so personal. Great job, gang!

    • i’m glad it made you smile. i was really struggling with this challenge…and suddenly, i remembered my nancy drew books! i spent hours reading those things, cozied up in bed-with a flashlight, of course!!

      • Melissa S

I used to read for hours when I was supposed to be asleep, too. One time I almost caught my bedroom on fire b/c I put a stack of paper on my lamp to dim the light so my mom wouldn’t see! :)

    • Thanks much for your props on #15! Takes me back to playing catch with my dad!

  • My favorite is #2.

I could only find some darts from my childhood. :(

  • I like the darts and the nail polish.

  • thanks for props on #2! that poor fuzzless bear….

i love #15, nancy drew and the cleveland indians!

  • Like everyone else, I’m in love with #15. #5 made me smile. Apparently a bunch of us have memories of reading in bed under the covers and snuggling with stuffed animals. :)
