Photo Challenge Update
I’ve decided that the 30 Day Photo Challenge will take place in September! Since I’ll be shooting film, I’m going to start tomorrow (August 1st), finish by August 30th, and post starting September 1st. For those that want to shoot in real time/digital, you have a month to start brainstorming!
#FilmNerd
The other day, I bought the Lomography.com Groupon ($20 for $50 worth of product). I began browsing and decided that I’ll be purchasing the La Sardina! I’m so excited and even found a couple photos on Flickr taken with the camera. A little more info found on lomography.com: These 35mm cameras are
Brand Spotlight
I’ve owned my regular pair of TOMS since 2008 and they’ve held up for almost 3 years. This past weekend, I finally bought a pair of wedges and my love for TOMS hit a new level. They’re so comfortable and adds a little bit of height. We’re definitely looking into purchasing their sunglass
30 Day Photo Challenge
I recently shared my idea for a new series based on challenges. I’ll definitely be partaking in the 30 Day Photo Challenge next. I would REALLY love to shoot film so I’m trying to decide if I’ll shoot during August & post in September. Let me know if you’re interested and if August/

Things I’ve been loving lately: Downtown Columbus, sangria, cake, sushi, and birthday parties. All photos taken on my slow, slow iPhone 3GS. HOLDING OUT FOR THE NEXT ONE!
Monday Link Love
Keiko Lynn’s braided ‘do tutorial is wonderful. I can’t wait until my hair gets long enough to try this. Art in the Age just introduced RHUBY! I have loved trying ROOT and SNAP. This one may be my favorite. Head on over to xheight to read my article about being an artist and a designer. [&hell
We Need To Talk
What a bad blogger I’ve been this week! Desh and I are here to explain ourselves a bit. (No, blogging has nothing to do with him…but he looked so cute that I had to take this picture with him before bed!) Anyways, I’ve been a bit busy. Isn’t everyone? I know. Some things I can’t [&
Weekend Recap
No Monday Link Love today–we had a weekend at the lakehouse and I’m exhausted. How was yours?
Doo Dah
I attended my first Doo DahParade this year on the 4th. It was fabulous.
Katie Scott
I love these prints for sale over in Katie Scott’s shop. More of her work here.
30 Day Challenge Series
As you may have noticed, I’ve added a few “Featured Post” tabs over on my sidebar (one of them being a 30 Day Challenge tab)! I’m going to (possibly) change it to something more generic so it will allow me to take on shorter challenges. You might be wondering, “What types of challe
Daily Occurrences
Some shots from my second Canon A-1 roll (Fuji pro400h). A lot of the shots were a bit blown out which was kind of a bummer. I’m currently shooting Kodak Portra 400NC so we’ll see how that turns out next weekend. If you want to connect on Flickr, add me as a contact!
Monday Link Love
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a Monday Link Love so I bet you’re peeing your pants right now. I realized that I’ve tweeting a lot of the fun things I find on the internet throughout the week and then have nothing to share come Monday. I’ve decided to set aside 3-5 links that I
Yes A Backpack Will Work
The heavy oversized purse? Love it. But it hurts my shoulders. Small, cute clutch? Love it. But it’s annoying to hold and I drop it all the time. So, backpack. I need one. Which one should I get? Found here, here, here and here.
Office Space
Earth tones, wood, and a random collection of inspiring things. That’s what I want my office to look like someday. 1|2|3
Parked
Last weekend Adam and I had a lovely day at the park. We read, played on our phones, and I taught him how to shoot with my digital SLR. He loves it! I’ve always been on the other side of the camera shooting so it was fun to be on the front side.
Homeversary
Today marks two years that I’ve been here in Columbus, Ohio and I couldn’t be happier about the city that I choose to call home. I grew up in Illinois and so Ohio never really crossed my radar until Adam got a job here before we got engaged. I’m not an expert when it comes […]
