Some of the books that have been piling up on my bookshelf. Must read soon. I’m halfway done with The Easter Parade. I love it.
30 Day Drawing Challenge: Day 30!
The 30 Day Drawing Challenge is officially over! It was definitely more difficult than I thought it would be. Life, obviously, gets in the way of drawing/scanning/blogging but I gained so much from the challenge. I learned that you all are seriously talented (even if you don’t consider yourself an artist
Happy Birthday Desh!
It’s Desh’s 2nd birthday today! We celebrated by buying him a new frisbee, a raw hide bone and turning on our air conditioning. A long walk is yet to come! I think he’s gotten cuter with age but I’m biased.

Day 26: Something You’re Scared Of Randi contributed and said…needles! Day 27: Someone you love! I already drew Adam before I thought I’d draw Desh, my dog. He’s way cuter in real life. Randi drew his best friend! Day 28: Draw something you’d like. I’d like to travel. Day 29:

With so much rain lately, the sun always seems frighteningly bright. April May Showers Bring May June Flowers? I wish it looked this epic when it rained. All those black umbrellas make you wonder who’s underneath. Photo found here.

30 Day Drawing Challenge: Day 20
10 more days! I can’t believe it’s already the 20th. Today’s challenge was to draw something orange. For me, I think a drawing or design can be very powerful when you evoke the visualization of color (even if it’s black and white). I drew an orange construction/traffic cone. They’r

Icarus & Occident
Icarus & Occident is my new favorite blog. It’s a daily juxtaposition of photography and music. But in a way, it’s deeper than that for me. While reading, I’m sucked into the music, the lyrics and the visual. I really love this excerpt from their About page: “This will all fade. And

30 Day Drawing Challenge: Day 15
We’re at the halfway point! Today’s challenge was to draw your family (which is perfect because we’re visiting Adam’s family this weekend). As I’m blogging from Indiana, I’m surrounded by those that we love and that love us back. All I had was some computer paper and a red Cr
