Here’s My Card

I kept it simple. My logo? Not perfect. Some of the serifs are a little off and it has no rhyme or reason. But, I like it like that. I wanted to be able to hand someone my card (maybe scribble something on the back) and allow them to get a sense of how I work. Or how my brain works? Too deep?

Also, like my Barbie Pink nail polish?

    Love them!

& let pink live on forever.

  • I love this post and the one proceeding it…hearing another designer (and a fabulous one at that) reflect on and embrace the imperfections of a final product is refreshing in a blogosphere where soooooooo many people come off as having no glitches in their process and in their results. My handiwork will ever be as balanced and symmetrical as I’d like them to be, this just inspired me to be okay with that…I like your style. :)

  • *preceding-eesh, it’s too early in the morning to be spelling.

  • Thanks Kellyn!

Lisa- Thank you so much for your sweet comment!! I also have the same feeling about the blogworld. A lot of people only post photos of their perfectly decorated house and their flawless work…but no one’s perfect! I have dirty dishes sitting in my sink :) Love your work too and I look forward to following your work! And I love your blog (and Columbus too). We should connect sometime!

  • Love the cards! Very creative and fit (what I know of the virtual @alliepal) your personality.

  • Aw thanks Vinny!!
